My strong support of the benefits of E-Verify listed below, does NOT extend to any bill, such as the Legal Workforce Act, that takes away state rights because Obama's own admission that "the federal government is not doing its job but should be", along with current actions such the directive reiterated by ICE to its people to use prosecutorial discretion and sign them up for work permits, plus 8 million illegal workers still in their jobs more than two years after he was elected, confirms the need for states to retain all rights to do what the federal government still refuses to do!!
14-22 million unemployed legal immigrants and citizens deserves the jobs that are currently being done by 8 million illegal workers!!
And there are billions in unnecessary costs a lot of people don't know about!!
So doing his job and directing ICE to do theirs 100%:
1-Costs the Federal government NO additional dollars vs the money it saves as described in the remaining points!
2-Opens 8 Million jobs that are in still the hands of illegals!
3-Reduces the costs that individuals, families and states incur. It amounts to an average of 2 Billion dollars per state and its citizens, per year, plus the costs of ID theft!
4-Offers two layers of protection from identity theft via the SSA and Homeland Security! Which costs its victims billions of dollars by itself!
5-Reduces document fraud!

7-Protects our sovereignty by stimulating jobs and growth which prevents our nation from having to borrow more money!
8-It's free, easy and fast to use, workers cannot be fired while they correct errors if they choose to challenge a Nonconfirmation! It is the resposnibility of DHS and/or Social Security Administration to correct errors in a timely manner, so E-Verify is not to blame and the few bad employees at DHS or the SSA should be dealt with to prevent this from happening again!!
9-Reduces the cost to states having to help our unemployed and greatly reduces the need for additional funding because a large portion can return to work! States will then be able to spend more on contracting which will also increase business and lead to more hiring! The more spending they are able to do, the more other businesses will be able to grow and hire!
10-Brings in more payroll and tax revenue because of the increase in salaries and spending!
11-Prevents home foreclosures for many who will be back to work and boosts sales from those returning to work who lost their home, and more will be able to buy their first home after going back to work!
12-Creates fair competition for legal businesses so they can grow and hire more legal employees, instead of more layoffs or going out of business all-together!
13-A few days after the State of the Union Address in 2010, Obama admitted that "illegals go to the E.R. and we pay for it". He still refuses to do anything about that too so businesses, including hospitals, have to raise prices to cover this, so we are paying even more because it's passed on to us and businesses, and is passed on from businesses to businesses, to businesses to businesses and so on, that adds a lot of unncesessary costs to us, states and the federal government!
14-Costs businesses less than .30 cent per employee to verify their status and takes less than 2 minutes with the completed I-9's and supporting documents already on file!
15-Returning 8 million legal immigrants and citizens back to work and spending again also increases revenue for those businesses not forced to pay the cost of sanctuary cities or states that harbor illegals, which will return to normal once legal workers and their business recipients get back on track, grow and hire even more legal workers that need those homes again!
Some say enforcement will be separate families, not true because they can take the others with them and get dual citizenship so they can come and go freely with other legal immigrants, legal visa holders or other citizens! Most of them already speak the language and have family to help them adjust!
And then there is the children that were brought here through no fault of their own. Once they reached 18, it was their responsibility to apply for citizenship on their own merits. Many chose not to so they are no better than the rest of the illegals and deserve no special treatment!
We can only absorb so many people and it's not right for illegals to take jobs, opportunities and resources away from legal immigrants and citizens!!
