Workshop segments will include information on how to start and operate a business, growing an existing business, marketing strategies, financing and available resources.

Many businesses are searching for new markets to help grow their sales. State and federal procurement can often be a good fit. To help businesses present themselves to state and federal decision makers, the Virginia Department of Business Assistance ( VDBA) is organizing free training 
and networking sessions for businesses. These sessions are known as Business Sales Growth sessions and are available around the Commonwealth. To attend one of these sessions, click on the events link above and look for a Business Sales growth session offered by VDBA. A program flier is available for download. One on one counseling sessions are also offered to help you develop a tailored strategy for your specific company.
